Who Does Your Torch Burn For?
The 2nd annual Torch Raise, hosted by the Valley Health System, will take place at the end of the Opening Ceremonies. Torches will be available for a $10 donation at the event and will also be given to all participants that raise $250 or more. White Torches signify stroke and red Torches represent heart disease. Stop by the Torch Station to pick up your torch and then visit the decoration station to add your own customizations. We look forward to raising torches in honor of those we have lost, to celebrate those who have survived, and to show our commitment for building a healthier community!
Do you want to save time on the morning of the Heart & Stroke Walk? Join us on Bank Day so you can attend the event worry-free!
During this time you can turn in check and cash donations, get your event t-shirt if you have raised $100, and pick-up your event wristband.
Runners will be able to pick-up their race bibs on Bank Day.
The American Heart Association is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. These diseases, the Nation's No.1 and No.4 killers, claim more than 813,804 American lives a year. Thanks to all our walkers, donors and volunteers who have accepted the challenge to help fight heart disease and stroke. We cannot achieve our mission without each one of you!
